Power Distribution and Transmission

H-MACS

Monitors and controls overall building and factory utility equipment and provides optimal solution information to promote stable energy supply and energy saving, as well as to improve the efficiency of operation and maintenance.

Overview

Flexible monitoring and control system to support environmental management

We propose the most suitable products for each situation, such as factories, buildings, and public facilities, to improve the efficiency of operation and maintenance.

Features

  • Extensive set of engineering support tools for screen modification, change of constants, and creation of forms
  • Monitoring, control, and management functions support energy-saving operation and environmental management
  • Early detection of signs of insulation degradation, enabling proactive management
  • Web-enabled functionality as a standard feature, enabling remote monitoring, control, and device operation
  • In the conventional system configuration, each of the systems, such as the high-voltage monitoring system, low-voltage monitoring system, and insulation monitoring system, had its own PC screen, which was redundant, but H-MACS integrates and manages them centrally

Menu screens

Monitors the operating and fault conditions and provides means of operation.

Shows power status trends.

Monitors electricity usage.

Lists operating and fault conditions.

Prints power and energy information for each system as a form.

Monitors equipment operating hours to contribute to wasteless maintenance.

Shows daily loads as a graph to offer information.

Gives an at-a-glance view of various types of information.

Prevent insulation degradation accidents

Cables and equipment will develop insulation degradation due to aging, moisture, contact, and other factors.
Eventually, a “high-resistance earth fault,” in which a current flows that is too weak to activate a normal earth fault relay, or an “intermittent earth fault,” which is instantaneous earth fault caused by development of a water tree, occurs. These signs cannot be ascertained by conventional insulation resistance measurement (Meggering).

System configuration

The insulation monitoring system of H-MACS uses ICU and H-NET communications to collectively monitor the status of all equipment units, from extra high-voltage to low-voltage.
We also propose systems that are appropriate to the scale of your system.
