April 11, 2025Luis Torres is Named President and CEO of Telesis Technologies

Elk Grove Village, IL, April 10, 2025 - Hitachi Industrial Equipment & Solutions America, LLC (HIESA) today announced that Luis Torres has been appointed President and CEO of Telesis Technologies, effective April 1, 2025. He succeeds Ashot Mesropyan, who will transition into an advisory role, focusing on research and development. Torres will continue to concurrently serve as President of HIESA.

Torres, who was named Chief Operating Officer at Telesis Technologies in January 2025, brings extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence. Under his leadership, Telesis will continue driving innovation in coding and marketing solutions for industrial manufacturing customers. His focus remains on strengthening customer-centric strategies and advancing cutting-edge technologies.

Before joining HIESA and Telesis, Torres served as Vice President of Global Sustainability at Hitachi Global Air Power, where he led sustainability and aftermarket initiatives. He also played a key role in global sustainability efforts as a Senior Director in the Sustainable Management Strategy Group of Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd (HIES). Prior to his tenure with Hitachi, he held leadership positions at industry-leading companies, including Stanley Black & Decker.
